Who said learning can't be fun?
At Manda Huevos we believe that learning should always be a flavourful adventure!
That's why we recently had the pleasure of hosting an egg-citing cookery class at Penicuik High School. With students from S4, S5, and S6 in attendance, our talented chef Pablo not only taught the students the art of Spanish cooking but also shared tips on handling knives and spoke about the importance of local produce.
Now that's food for thought!
When it comes to culinary education, we know that a pinch of fun can go a long way. Pablo captured the students' attention with his infectious enthusiasm, teaching them the secrets of crafting delicious Spanish tortillas.
At Manda Huevos, we're passionate about showcasing the incredible flavours that local produce has to offer.
During the cookery class, we made it a point to highlight the importance of supporting local farmers and businesses.
We were also lucky to have two fantastic students, Millie and Freya, join us during this class. They assisted Pablo in cutting the Empanadillas that we all shared, and mixing the tortilla batter before they ended up in the pan.
The best part of any culinary adventure is the joy of sharing it with others. The positive feedback and empty plates were a testament to the success of the class. We were thrilled to see the students' faces light up as they savoured the flavours and forged new connections through the power of food.
The Manda Huevos cookery class at Penicuik High School was an unforgettable experience.
We're committed to continuing this journey of culinary creativity, inspiring and delighting students across Edinburgh and the Lothians.
Join us as we unlock the delicious possibilities and make learning a truly enjoyable experience!
